The International Labor Recruitment Working Group and faith, anti-trafficking, advocacy, and labor groups are holding a meeting and press call on Monday, June 10, 2013 in Washington, D.C. to speak about recruitment abuse and trafficking of internationally recruited workers. Several populations are vulnerable to exclusion from protections and we want to hear their stories and educate others and ourselves about trafficking and recruitment abuse.
The meeting will be in Washington D.C. from 9:30-11:00 am and the press call will take place from 11:00 am-12:00pm. We hope that you can all attend! The meeting will take place at the AFL-CIO Headquarters, 815 16th St., NW, Washington DC 20005; you will need a photo identification to enter the building.
